Finch. An american band originating from Temecula, california, finch set up in the late nineties as a band called
Numb.
Now a band consisting of five members Nate barcalow (frontman), Randy strohmeyer (guitarist), alex linares (guitarist),
derek doherty (bass) and alex pappas (drummer), the band are one of the best Emo bands around.
The band were signed shortly after Drive-thru records had been sent a demo by Randy, who had been a big fan of them
for years , and the EP 'falling into place' was released on october 9th in 2001, selling over 6,000 copies by the end
of 2001.
Just before the EP had been released Finch had been busy in Big fish recording studios in Encinitas,
CA, recording theyre debut album 'What It Is To Burn'. The album, released on march 12th 2002 turned out to
be a major hit. With Letters to you released first, finch became one of the best known emo bands around.
Finch toured straight after the release of theyre album with moth,and then again with brandnew which turned out to be
a very successful sell out tour...i think! hehe
Finch are currently working in the studios on they're new album, hopefully out sometime soon!
